Poor WiFi signals for TVs - hub at one end of the house & not on main electrical ciruit

We have very poor WiFi signals for our 2 TVs. Our tablets and mobiles are fine most of the time. Our hub is in one room at a front corner of the house. We tried 2 different products which use the electrical circuit to extend the WiFi signal without success, but only just realised the room the hub is in, is almost certainly on a separate circuit to the rest of the house. We tried popping a cat5 cable onto the hub and took the cable to a more central location but that didn't go well. Is our only option to arrange for the hub to be moved? FYI, our house is fairly big and well built - solid brick walls throughout! Not big tecchies in this house. Help!

Re: Poor WiFi signals for TVs - hub at one end of the house & not on main electrical ciruit

Hey there mmbe90,

Thanks for posting and a warm welcome to the community Smiley Very Happy

Sorry to hear about the difficulties you're having with your wireless connection to your smart TV's. I wonder if it's an option to run long Ethernet cables between your Hub and TV's? We could arrange to relocate your Hub, but this would cost you £90 so I think we should explore all the options before that.

Hope to hear back from you soon,

Take care.
