Apparently the buyers for our house have been able to cancel and have our account shut off ... even though there's not even a moving date yet! But because I'm not the account holder it can't be put back on tonight

I'm sorry to hear that your services have been disconnected due to an error. Whenever someone knew enquires about our services, if there is already an active connection we will try and contact them to ensure they are no longer at that address. We're really sorry we failed you on this occasion.
Whenever the services are disconnected, the account holder would need to call us to let us know. A third party isn't able to do this as the account holder could well have actually cancelled the services.
Since posting, have you spoken to the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111? If not get the account holder to call us so we can put things right.
