i had gotten a new modem yesterday as the other one broke. I had set it up to what the book had said and it was all working fine, now I cannot connect to the internet properly and the services says that there is nothing wrong with broadband in my area. I have not had internet really since Saturday afternoon when the modem broke. Can someone help with this please as I need the internet to be able to work.
I had found the issue, while i was connected to my works VPN i could not use my internet locally. What i had done is untick "Use default gateway on remote network" option on the VPN network settings and that resloved the issue. This can now be closed.
