No Intranet connection Synology NAS and Virgin Hub 3.0

I have just noticed that my Synology NAS can no longer can connect to the intranet. There is an error message within the status which says "connection failed... please check your network settings".
I haven't made any changes to the NAS in the last couple of months, but I do have a new router 'HUB 3.0' because the last 3 routers blew within two months which is really odd. The customer service agents kept on saying it was a bad batch.

Sorry to hear about the problems you're having with your NAS, I've seen a few posts like this recently. From what I can see from reading around the community, you'll need to port forward to enable access. You might need to contact the manufacturers to find out what ports you need to forward.
