No Internet connection

Just one of our laptops has suddenly lost internet connection. Its connected to wifi but no internet connection. Other laptops and mobiles are fine.

hmmmm not sure - never had that so ask Google is my method

try this

Release and renew IP address for your computer:

a. Press Windows key + X and select “command prompt (admin)”.
b. Type ipconfig /release and hit Enter.
c. Then type ipconfig /renew and hit Enter.
d. Type Exit and hit Enter.

check the silly things first - is there a switch on the laptop to turn off wifi - have you updated anything that might have reset wifi password on that laptop - is the setting on wifi set to auto connect

if its a windows laptop go to device manager and look at the wifi device - check its active - look at updating drivers

Thanks Tony - all that is good. When running the Windows diagnostic tool I get the message that there is no valid IP address. Not sure how to fix that.
