I've had no wireless broadband connection since Wednesday afternoon now! Had called several times on Thursday and Friday and was cut off after holding for 15-20 mins. Eventually got through to someone this morning and was told that an engineer could not come out to fix the issue until 19th Dec!!! Absolutely disgusted! Has anyone else around the Birmingham/B31 area been having the same problem.
you say you have had no wireless connection - have you got a wired connection - if so then the fault is at your end with the wifi and unless the hub is faulty its nothing to do with VM - so confirm if a wired connection works or not

I have tested things from here and I can see that you're only locking onto one upstream channel, this will explain the performance issues.
