New to VirginMedia, Hub3 modem only mode disconnects frequently
Just joined VirginMedia after moving to London. I have a Sophos UTM device that connects to the VirginMedia hub via Ethernet using DHCP. Every day I use the system I get random disconnects that last for around 5-10 minutes.
If I unplug and plug back in the WAN cable from the UTM equipment to the Virgin hub I get reconnected.
I can sometimes access 192.168.100.1 to get the router status but more offen than not that won't work either.
I have read several posts from others which seem to indicate Ethernet dropouts, especially in modem mode.
