New SH3 and Vivid 200 upgrade yesterday. BQM poor and connection keeps dropping.
I`ve been on 100MB BB and SH1 for ages and not really had many issues. Yesterday the engineer came and swapped my clunky old TiVo for a SH6 which is MUCH better.
All good so far. !
He also swapped the SH1 for a SH3 and the package I now have has 200MB BB
I used to have the SH1 in Modem mode and then via my Netgear router, but I had a lot of connection issues with the SH3, so I`ve removed the router, left the SH in the default mode and bought a range extender instead. For browsing on WiFi in the house it`s fine. All the PC`s are hardwired via ethernet anyway so poor wifi coverage is not an issue.
The problem is the flaky connection. Last night whilst playing games my son was delighted when his screen flashed up "There is No internet connection" halfway through a game....
That got me searching and I setup a BQM and here is the graph from midnight until 19:00 today
That doesn`t look as I expected, surely there shouldn`t be any Red at all and why so many Yellow peaks ?.
The speed was slow when first installed but it has been 200MB on all the recent tests
I think this is the information that`s usually requested from the modem.
