Network Dropping Out

Hi,

For the last few days my internet has been dropping out, it loses connection for a few seconds then connects again automatically, this is wholely frustrating as it boots me off website, stops film streaming and gaming on my Xbox, it has become more and more regular, with it now occurring every 5-10minutes, I have reset the router twice today, and it hasn't seemed to have any effect. We currently have the 2AC superhub, and run the fastest internet package as well as phone and TV, but I'm struggling to see the purpose of "Super Fast" internet if it doesn't remain connected for more than a few minutes, I have called Virgin and their diagnostics show no issues. Any help is much appreciated!

Probably a firmware issue which will hopefully get resolved soon

I am haveing the same problem mine started about 4 days ago and litraly my xbox is disconnecting every
5 minutes is so frustrating I have neve4 had any problems with my Internet befor eather

I called up Virgin and they changed some settings and reset the router (wasn't hugely specific) and that seems to have solved the problem, would suggest you call them too!

can you test on a wired device and see if the dropouts still happen. its very possible its the wireless and not the internet connection.

Well I hope he's right as I've just had it drop out again, seems whatever they did just delayed the drop outs, not impressed 😒
