Mystery 2G network

I've just noticed that my router is now providing a duplicate WiFi network to my main one, same name as mine (JACMansel_2G).  Both appear, but the one I administer is secured of course, and the other appears as open.  I can't connect to the open one.

Have a picture but can't work out how to post it, soz.

What is causing this to appear?  My kindle keeps trying to connect to it and rejects it as a "peer-to-peer".  Is it some attempt by VM to emulate the BT Wifi shared service ...?

Thanks

Neil

Re: Mystery 2G network

Just on a I-told-you-so point .... I think VM is now admitting freely now that this wasn't just my imagination, and it's its new BT WiFi with FON equivalent ...?
