Multi TiVo boxes

I now have a new V6 box and a TiVo box.

it says I can connect them together but that seems impossible. It also says you can play My Shows via an iPad mini. Now I can see both box 'my shows' on iPad mini but the ones on my TiVo box will not play as it says it is not connected. I know that you can connect via Ethernet cable but that is not practical because of distance. It also suggests you can connect via an electrical mains connector but just given mine away thinking I didn't need it. My question is can I connect my TiVo box wirelessly to my router. Please does anyone know?

Re: Multi TiVo boxes

the tico has to be connected my ethernet. You can use powerline as well but no wireless in the tivo box.

Also as fara s i know you can only play shows from the V6 boxes on the tablets/phones
