Mobile devices cant see or connect to router

I'm new to Virgin having only had set-up this weekend. I had a nightmare getting broadband connected - Virgin Community Support kept saying there were problems and it would be fixed by (insert random time here)    3 days later we are finally online.

However despite my iPhone and ipad connecting to the wireless signal, my laptop and ipod can't. The router does not appear in the list of available signals. I have no idea why this should be so.  Can anybody out there help or advise please ?

I'd like to start by apologising for the poor service and support you've had to date, I hope I'll be able to turn things around for you.

Checking your connection I can see that you've got devices connected to your 5G and 2G network, which confirms they're both broadcasting. I've just adjusted your wireless channel on the 2G, would you try connecting your laptop now please and let me know how you get on.
