Lots of unwanted emails from VM regarding fault update

I requested an update affecting my broadband.

In the last few minutes I have received over 22 emails (all the same) and still counting.

Please can someone in Tech support stop the emails.

The latest update is: We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way

We now expect to have this resolved by 2016-12-19T16:00:00

Hi,

well I see that you have had no response!!

I also have received 27 on Friday and 33 today.

I contacted virgin via chat who then advised that I was not 'chatting' to the correct team and to start again via broadband then steps 1,2,and three which I did started chat once again, and was being asked numerous questions, sorry I assumed that if I gave fault nuber, and the problem they could check on how the updates were being generated WRONG!!! In the end gave up and closed chat down. I have now updated and cancelled my request on updates for this  fault sincerely hope  that works!

I will try and cancel the update and hopefully that will resolve it.
