Long Term Internet Issues.

Hi, I've been experiencing widespread issues with my broadband, these have been ongoing since the start of this year, in total we have had 2 full months where our internet was down and yet again I'm further experiencing issues with drop outs. I've exhausted all my options with customer service and all they offer me is to cancel which I'd rather not do, all I want is it to be fixed!

I'll attach some of the information the router (New SuperHub3) has logged for review and hope that someone can assist.

Re: Long Term Internet Issues.

Hmm your stats look ok, you might need a line pull at this rate, although do check for over utilisation, but technically it shouldn't be disconnecting you, is it the hub 3? Any chance your using it in modem mode? It doesn't look like that from the stats although people who suffer that particular bug find the logs don't show everything correctly

Re: Long Term Internet Issues.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, yes it's a brand new SuperHub 3 literally installed last month I believe. No it's being used as a router, approx 3-4 wireless devices connected but rarely used, 1 connection which is wired I use between my Xbox One and my PC which I switch between them manually.

Previous faults have been to do with noise but some haven't been fully explained and it's had so many issues it's very frustrating, I just want it fixed.

I find when it's very bad rain or cold outside this tends to become more of an apparent issue. Every night playing on Xbox One, past approx 10pm I start getting disconnects from party etc, it's usually fine up till then sometimes it does drop.

What do you suggest?

Can I help provide any further information for evaluation?

Thanks.

Re: Long Term Internet Issues.

Further issues continue, download speeds drop frequently. I have monitored downloads with my Xbox for games and the best I'm getting is 8mb/s downloading.

In another area downloading at the same time my brother is getting 150mb/s with Virgin.

Still experiencing issues with drop outs mainly past 10pm the issue begins to occur.

On Xbox I have setup a static IP between the SH3 and console, I have forwarded all ports and also DMZ. I have tried different DNS settings within the console.

Can anyone please assist, these issues have been going on for so long and I really just want someone to help me fix this and put it to bed.
