For the month of March we were charged a late fee more than double our regular bill. The regular direct debit was not attempted and the account details hadn't changed. I was checking my account constantly mid-month but no debit attempts were made then was charged on the 24th March which I paid instantly. This was set up as a direct debit and I'm not sure if we will be overcharged again or not but obviously don't want that to happen.
I would appreciate it if the late fee was credited back to my account as the customer shouldn't be penalised for a technical error.
