Laptops no longer connect to network

My wife and daughter primarily use a laptop and until yesterday, Wednesday 9th November, both devices were automatically connecting to the network. However neither can now see the network to connect to it. All other devices in the household, phones, ipad, surface tablet, are still connected. Can anyone advise please?

Re: Laptops no longer connect to network

Has Windows done any updates that may have changed network settings?

Has WiFi been turned off accidentally on the laptop?

Can the laptop see any networks?

There are a lot of reasons that can cause Windows to lose a wifi connection but checking these will be a good start.

Re: Laptops no longer connect to network

Ok, it a recent and common issue two main methods, both a little long winded for here, read the link

http://www.drivethelife.com/windows-10/fix-no-wifi-available-after-windows-10-update.html

I hope it helps, the firstoption is what I'd try first as it's quite simple, just don't panic and follow the steps accurately
