Keeps Disconnecting

For a few days my internet just disconnects and after a few minutes comes back. It can disconnect every few hours or a few times an hour. Its took me a few times to post this because its disconnected a bunch of times.

Looks like your downstream is borked as you are picking up only one downstream channel. The T4 errors are showing the disconnects.

I take it you have rebooted the hub.

Apart from giving the coax cable a quick once over, checking for obvious signs of damage and all connecters are hand tight there is not a lot you can do.

You will need to contact VM for resolution, either by waiting here a few days until a VM Forum Team Member picks up the thread, or give them a call on 150 from a VM line or 0345 454 1111 for a quicker response.

My internet connection has kept failing today - 8times. When I contact the help desk they say there is nothing wrong. The troubleshooter shows DNS server may have a problem This keeps happening in this area B98 9LX and I have reported it several times. Last night I gave up on it

Hi Mucka82, 

Thanks for letting us know about your connection dropping! I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I have tested the connection from here and I can see that there's a number of time outs inside the Hubs logs and an engineer will be required to attend in order to resolve this.

I will send you a PM (purple envelope at the top) detailing what's required in order to proceed with making the booking. Please respond to me there and I'll get this sorted for you.
