Intermittent internet service

I have an intermittent fault on my internet connection which results in my internet dropping out and then restarting. Apart from devices not loading webpages, the other indication is when the right hand green light on my TIVO box starts to flash.

I'm hoping someone can help me resolve this as, so far, I have phoned in the issue on multiple occasions, been told that indeed there is an issue, asked to turn the router off and on again, promised that the connection will be monitored, then I don't hear another thing from Virgin, whilst the issue remains!!

Nothing like a bit of customer service......

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your connection.

 

I've located your account and I can see an issue with the network in your area, though this should only be affecting speeds at peak times - Ref.(F005036795).

 

I've run a diagnostic on your equipment and there's a worrying amount of T3 Timeouts in your logs. I'd like to send a technician to take look. I've sent you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) so I can arrange an appointment.
