Intermittent broadband and T3 timeouts

Hi there,

Starting on 27th Dec 16 we've been having some problems with our broadband. It doesn't actually disconnect but the internet will just hang for 30 seconds+ at a time. When it resumes, it goes back to the around 70mbps that I pay for. I've tried restarting all equipment to no avail. I've noticed as well that the up/down arrow has been constantly flashing during this period - at least 4-5 times a second.

I've checked the router network log and I'm seeing lots of T3 errors, as below:
30/12/2016 07:20:50 GMT 30/12/2016 07:20:50 GMT Critical (3) 82000200 No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Not sure if this is connected, but worth knowing as this is not normal.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do here?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your connection.

 

I've run a diagnostic on your equipment and everything is looking great at the moment. No errors, levels as they should be and no network faults. Are you still experiencing the same problems? Let me know and we can look further into it for you.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for your reply. The problems seem to have cleared up now. Maybe they were due to christmas/ new years traffic?

If this happens again, do you have any tips for me to try?
