Intermittent Internet

Hello, currently having problems with my internet cutting out, for a few seconds every couple of hours and then coming back. Have run the diagnostics on the router and ran the other test through virgin media and they have come back with "no issues".

My network logs reads (from looking at other posts on this forum, and the errors I am getting these seem to match a "SNR" error, which is apparently to do with my area? Any help would be much appreciated, I am using the Hub 3.0 and have Vivid 100 optical fibre, thanks):

Re: Intermittent Internet

Hi there paulbrad101,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

I'm sorry to read you are experiencing intermittent broadband connection. I can imagine how annoying this must be.

From checking your connection, I was unable to detect any obvious reason for the drop outs in your connection and there are no faults reported.

If you are still having this issue, are you able to create a Broadband Quality Monitor to check the performance of the connection please? When setting up the BQM graph you will need to disable the firewall within the router settings.

Let us know how you get on

Sam
