Increasingly worse packet loss and internet drop-outs

Hi,

At around 7pm last night, I started getting really bad internet spikes. Webpages would take forever to load, and my connection would drop constantly. As the night went on, it got worse and worse, as you can see from the screenshot from my Broadband Monitor Graph below. I've tried power cycling the router multiple times and I've ran the diagnostic test on the Virgin Media site, but there weren't any issues detected with my equipment, nor were there any faults announced.
