Inconsistent Internet Dropouts

Hello for quite a while now I've been getting internet drop outs at completely random times however they seem more consistent during the night. I would lose connect from 5 - 20 minutes at a time. I'm currently connect via Ethernet so wireless is out of the question. I've copied over a network log of tonight since it's dropped 4-6 times within a few hours.

Re: Inconsistent Internet Dropouts

A heads up, VM Forum Team members take about a week to reply to posts and bumping your own posts puts you to the back of the queue again.

Your upstream power levels are maxxed out and need to be looked at by VM.

You will need to contact VM for resolution, either by waiting here about a week until a VM Forum Team Member picks up the thread, or give them a call on 150 from a VM line or 0345 454 1111 for a quicker response.

Re: Inconsistent Internet Dropouts

Hello Crims

Welcome to our forum, thank you for your patience. The area upstreams are problem free so as griffin kindly mentioned it may just be your line with the maxed out transmit power levels, still looking high by the way:-

    54 dBmV        54 dBmV

I will send you a forum private message to arrange an engineer appointment please reply when you have a moment.

Many thanks

Nicola
