Hudl tablet can't connect to WiFi

Recently a friend tried to connect a Hudl to our WiFi network and it got stuck in a status of "Authenticating..." and never connects. I've tested with a few devices and it appears to affect a selection of Hudls (all running Android 4.2.2).

I've tried to tune the security settings, but the SuperHub3 "advanced" settings is next to useless and doesn't allow you any real flexibility (e.g. it won't allow you to choose AES, TKIP etc) and the log is useless too.

To save me having to stick a network sniffer on the process, are there known issues with using the Hudl? Whilst we're at it, why is the interface so dumbed down to be pointless?

Re: Hudl tablet can't connect to WiFi

In order

No

Yes

Or to clarify no known issues with HUDL2 and HUB3 (I use 4 LAN side ATM)

Yes its so dumbed down as to be useless

If its any help , I connected mine through WPS

Thats assuming your referring to HUDL2, not the original HUDL.

Re: Hudl tablet can't connect to WiFi

It turns out that the wife had misremembered one character in the wifi password. So, no problem, just an ID10T error.
