Hub 3 LAN port dropping in ROUTER mode

I have had the HUB 3 for a number of weeks now and from day one connected ethernet LAN port devices have suffered repeated frequent intermittent dropouts most noticeable when streaming video content, users suffer pixilation and a freezing picture. I have validated ethernet cabling, data socket outlets and to date have been baffled and frustrated as to the causation but noted that other users have reported similar symptoms albeit with the device in modem mode.

Resetting the HUB has made no difference to the symptoms described. 

Hardware connected to the HUB are Apple devices, 2 x iMac and 1 x MacBook Air. Previous IP provider was Sky for which we had none of the described symptoms.

I am in possession of my old virgin HUB 2 and wondered if this an easy way to identify the HUB3 as having a fault - appreciate that I would have to contact Virgin Technical for them to reinstate my HUB2. Any help would be appreciated.

You could try the Superhub 2, but that would just be playing a guessing game..

Better to copy-and-paste (or preferably provide screenshots of) the Hub 3's downstream, upstream and network log stats from the router status page. (Without logging in) it's found here: http://192.168.0.1/

I need the full network log.

Your problem will be unrelated to the modem mode port-flapping issue, as you're running in router mode.

You may be experiencing a DHCP issue I've seen before in router mode IF you experience the drop-outs every 54 minutes exactly, or it could be one of several other issues which the stats will show.

Sorry rather embarrassing but copying and pasting, screenshot etc from iOS 10.8 does not work for me on this forum.mmmm Can you suggest another way? Have saved the information in word and preview which I could mail? Thanks

Either upload the power level images (no MAC address required) to your forum profile http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/337596 if you can or to a free image site such as http://imgur.com/

Then post the links to the images/gallery in this thread.
