Usually I would just keep working away until I could get something to work but this thing has my brain rattled. I got my HUB 3.0 yesterday - Let's not even talk about getting it setup with the amount of failed firmware it decided it wanted to have.
So everything looked good to go - Computers connected up, phones connected up , TV connected up , Consoles connected up etc
Now here is where the problem starts I wanted to get my Plex working on my KS7000 again because why not right - It worked out the box with the 2AC
Computer is on IP 192.168.0.10 TV is on IP 192.168.0.14 Internet connection works on everything
Computer cannot ping TV Computer is on ethernet TV is on WiFi
Pinging 192.168.0.14 with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out.
So I check the HUB again - It shows the TV on 192.168.0.59 (Even though I set it as Static to .14 Screw it why not
Pinging 192.168.0.59 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 192.168.0.10: Destination host unreachable. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out.
Hmm okay? Maybe it's something to do with the ports Opened up all the required ports - Still no joy
So it feels like the Ethernet and wifi layers cannot communicate with one another - My TV can differentiate dual bands automatically so does not require to name them to fix that issue - However I did it anyway just to ensure this wasnt the issue - Duplicate ip's or whatever - Nope still no change
Maybe it was something rookie - Check the network on PC is set to Private and allowed sharing - All looks fine
Now I know that the issue has nothing to do with PLEX as the TV should be able to find DESKTOP-PP3NP4M as it's own source
