House Move - TERRIBLE connection!

Hey all...

First time - so go easy.

I've recently moved into a new house and my once ever-reliable Virgin broadband has become an absolute nightmare! The reach of the router is now barely able to get more than 10 metres and my 70mb broadband is barely registering 1.5mb through two walls.

The walls appear more substantial in my new property but it doesn't feel like a big ask to stream on an iPad over the other side of the hall!

I'm currently operating a Super Hub 2 (VMDG485) but fear my only solution is to go full blown TP Link or the dreaded BT or Sky...!

Heeeeeelp!

Re: House Move - TERRIBLE connection!

Wi-Fi is always fickle and affected by so many things including thick walls especially if they contain metal backed insulation panels.

Not sure if you meant a new router when you mentioned TP-Link, but you could consider Powerline Adapters with Wi-Fi built in ... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Devolo-Powerline-Starter-Adapter-Extender/dp/B00OZDO8RE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&...
