Edmonton Broadband Issue

My area code is 15, I live in Edmonton.

 

They confirmed on the phone that there are some improvement needs in this area and told me that they boosted my connection changing channels. I wonder if there is anyone in Edmonton area having the same issue. Virgin forces me to use my phone as a personal hot spot, I cant work from home, cannot even write this post with their connection. I am highly disappointed and paying for nothing really. Any developments or anyways to cancel this agreement please?
