Dual band modem

I have virgin broadband at home and have a dual band 2G/5G modem/router
I had virgin broadband put into a house I let & only got a single band modem/router. I think my tenants would appreciate the benefits of the dual band and am surprised we only got a single band router, I thought you be dual band was standard; how do I go about this?

Re: Dual band modem

Which router were you supplied with? All currently supplied Superhubs are concurrent dual band - Superhub 2, Superhub 2ac and Hub 3.0.

Re: Dual band modem

Hey JC57,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community Smiley Very Happy

I have checked your connection and I can see you're using a Superhub 2AC, so you should have both wireless networks broadcasting.

Can you log into 192.168.0.1 and access the wireless settings and double check that both networks are enabled.

Let me know how you get on,

Take care.
