Disabling ping on router

A Shields Up check shows that my router is responding to ping requests. How, in an idiots guide, can I disable this on my router. I have the Hub3. Thank you.

Re: Disabling ping on router

hiya @hansi with the hub 3 there isn't a way to enable/disable ping aka ICMP requests some say enabling the firewall on the hub should stop this, to check this is enabled need to log into hub via http://192.168.0.1 login details are on the sticker on hub.. and goto advanced and possible firewall/security to see if its enabled.
having ping enabled isn't a big deal just means it will reply to ping requests to see if the hub is up.
