DNS hijacking - will it ever be fixed?

I need the DNS Hijacking (apparently called "advanced error search") disabled. I've requested this multiple times on my account and have been reassured it has been removed.  Today I couldn't access my bank because Virgin was claiming the TSB website did not exist and was redirecting it to "search results for TSB".

The majority of the people on the phone support do not have a clue what this is and send you round the houses - took me over a hour to get through to someone who even knew what it was and they told me that the box he is supposed to tick to disable it was already ticked and there was nothing he could do.

You have known about the https://my.virginmedia.com/advancederrorsearch/ page 404-ing for years yet have done nothing about it. Why? Could it be that you're making money off this? Are Yahoo paying you per each hijacking?

Fix it.

Tried the other options, no one has a clue about this on the phones or webchat.

It's ridiculous.
