Constant Wifi Issues

This has been happening for a couple of months now. Basically what's happening is that all my devices CAN connect to the wifi but when they do it is either extremely slow (which makes it impossible to stream videos on YouTube and Netflix) or just cuts out altogether. I have read some posts on here of people with similar issues and the few answers I can find are that it is a peak time problem. I know this isn't the case because I have these problems no matter the time of day, and I have been constantly resetting the router and testing it every hour or so with no avail

Becoming extremely frustrated now because the connection is so poor I cannot even access my super hub to change any settings

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Re: Constant Wifi Issues

1 do you have any baby monitors or other things that can cause interference with your wifi signal

2 grab one of the many free wifi scanner apps and see if your're wifi is clashing with neighbours wifi and if there are any free channels.

3 Check the location of your hub, is it near a wall or any large metal objects

4 Do  you have old routers with resonable wifi capabilities lying around that you could use to create another wifi access point

Re: Constant Wifi Issues

1. No I have no baby monitors or anything that could disrupt the signal

2. Have used one of the free apps you spoke of but everything seems fine

3. It does have to get through one brick wall but find it hard to believe this is the problem considering I've had the broadband for years and this problem only started a couple of months ago

4. Unfortunately I have no old routers spare

Re: Constant Wifi Issues

Just to confirm that it is a wifi issue, do you get any problems with a wired connection ?

Re: Constant Wifi Issues

... and if your devices are not one wall separated from the hub?

Re: Constant Wifi Issues

Just tested with my phone literally right next to the router with no obstacles, similar results
