Connnectivity loss every day at 5.48am

Every morning at 5.48 for the last 10 days all wireless and Ethernet connections are lost. I have to reboot the modem to restore both internet access and local access. This morning even a reboot doesn't help ..

Re: Connnectivity loss every day at 5.48am

Hi haggis71,

Thanks for taking the time to post on the community.

Sorry to read the broadband stops working at a certain time of the day. I can imagine this is frustrating to say the least.

I would like to help further and check your connection for any issues, however I was unable to locate your account. I've sent you a PM (purple envelope icon, right corner) with some details for you to confirm please.

In the meantime have you tried a factory reset of the router to see if that helps? Be mindful that any saved settings will revert back to default.

Hope to hear from you soon

Sam

Re: Connnectivity loss every day at 5.48am

Hi there haggis71,

Thanks for confirming your details, I appreciate it.

I've taken a look at your connection, I am unable to see any issues that would cause your broadband to disconnect at this particular time.

When you get chance can you post the network log from the router please for us to see if there are any time-outs reported at this time?

Do any of the lights change on the router at all?

Do you get any error messages?

As this is a specific time it happens, have you got any timed-devices within the property, such as heating?

Let me know how you get on

Sam

Re: Connnectivity loss every day at 5.48am

I'll post the network log on the next reply when I can actually access the router - but I'll answer the other questions in this one

Do any of the lights change on the router at all?

Do you get any error messages?

As this is a specific time it happens, have you got any timed-devices within the property, such as heating?

the answer is - no... to all three unfortunately..
