Re: Connection keeps dropping out getting fed up with it now.

The upstream power levels are a little high, which could cause the hub to timeout and drop the connection to the Internet.  The recommended range is 31 to 51 and both of your upstream channels are above 51.

This will need an engineer visit to sort out the power levels. You can call VM and try to book a visit or wait for the VM staff to get to this thread and they can help you book a visit. Unfortunately current response times on here from staff are about a week.

My setup: Vivid 200 Optical fibre with Superhub 2 in modem mode connected to a Netgear R7000 router. Telewest/VM user since 2001.

Re: Connection keeps dropping out getting fed up with it now.

Hi Fubsy08,

Thanks for the post! I am sorry to hear about your connection dropping out, I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I have had a look over your connection from here and I can see that both of your upstream power levels are too high, in order to get this sorted for you an engineer will be required to attend and investigate this further.

I will send you a PM (Purple envelope at the top) detailing what's required to proceed with making the booking. Please respond to me there and I'll ensure this all gets booked and secured for you.

Take care,

Thanks,

Adam.
