Connecting a wireless router

Ok long story short

Q1 ,Want to move router from upstairs to downstairs, virgin say £99 for engineer , I say NO , so can I add a 2nd router downstairs and use network cable to connect to SH3 and turn the wifi off on the SH3.

Q2. on the connection on the wall socket,downstairs, there is only one outlet, there is  in the brown box outside the cable is split to upstairs , this cable goes into a splitter to a 2nd box and router

Its Actually £49 to relocate a hub, you need to ask for a TUNEUP visit

Been informed that for a engineer visit to move the Superhub then it is £99  , never heard or been told of a Tuneup visit
