Certain Websites not accessible - Try Again to solve

Strange one that I've had for years! My wife is now sick of it ;(

Certain websites just time out and nothing gets displayed. All others are fine and fast!

I've tried multiple laptops/mobiles, browsers, DNS servers (Google+OpenDNS), cabled and wireless. I know the sites are functioning because I can use my VPN account and get to them fine as I can do using a 4g wireless hotspot from the phone.

They are:

Boden.co.uk

Next.co.uk

Github.com

The Set-up looks like this: DD-WRT running on a Linksys 54GL, Virgin Cable Model and two Buffalo AirStations (WRT-G300).

I have no absolutely no idea whats happening as I'm sure others can see them... Any ideas appreciated!

Thanks

John

Do you have a superhub/hub or a standalone modem?

Re: Certain Websites not accessible - Try Again to solve

I think I have found the cause of the problem. Removing the Linksys 54GL with DD-WRT running and cabling direct to the superhub I can access all the errant sites! Slightly bemused as to why as there are no access restrictions set on the linksys. I suppose it's such an old build/router that something is breaking it.. time to get a new router. Thanks anyway.
