Cant access internet even though router looks connected

Hello, for the past 5 days I can't access internet. I can connect to the router via ethernet and Wifi but there is no internet connection. Ive tried both using my MacBook and my iPhone but nothing works. I contacted Virgin about 3 times and I get the same response every time. They say that everything looks right from their end and they were going to investigate the issue but every time they close the fault ticket and Im back to square one. I was hoping that they would send a technician over but they seem like they don't even wanna do that!

I was wondering if any of you had the same issue as me and if you got any tips on what it might be. I keep rebooting and resetting my router (Superhub) but no luck. My latest Network Log is:

 Time Not Established  Time Not Established  Warning (5)  68000300  DHCP WARNING - Non-critical field invalid in response ;CM-MAC=9c:**:**:**:**:80;CMTS-MAC=00:**:**:**:**:**;CM-QOS=1.0;CM-VER=3.0;

Does anyone know if there is a hint in this on what the problem might be?

thank you

Could you post the operational config, downstream and upstream this might show what is going on

Re: Cant access internet even though router looks connected

what hub do you have?, since if memory serves you can run ping test from the hub in the advanced section, if you run ping to e.g. 23.29.80.56 this is the bbc site, if this work would rule out a lot of possibles

Are you using a VPN?

If so, try disabling it.

Not using VPN.. could it be the router that has the problem?

My apologies you are experiencing loss of broadband service.

I would like to check your connection in more detail, however I was unable to locate your account. If you can send me a Private Message confirming your name and full address, I will look into this further.
