4.5.10.12-SIP-UPC

We have the Hiton plugged into the WAN port of our Draytek 2860.

Luckily we also have a TalkTalkBusiness EoFTTC connection with a fixed IP connected to the Draytek for all our Server/VOIP stuff, if it wasn't for that we would be screwed.

My SH2ac and Hub 3 on my residential line. I'm on the Hitron trial, but it's in my home instead of at a business address.

I'm praying this downtime tonight is for a firmware update for this rubbish Hiltron router.

Massive pain having to setup TLS on our VOIP phones as I cant turn off SIP ALG!

Same here, so I suspect the update will be midnight tonight (29/04/2016), rather than midnight last night (28/04/2016).

Let's see what we have by tomorrow morning (30/04/2016).

Depending upon convention, this could mean Wednesday post 23:59 or Thursday post 23:59.

"Your router will then re-start a few times and return to normal within 30 minutes. So, from 12.30am on Friday 29th April the upgrade will be complete."

This however, asserts it to be Thursday post 23:59.

If they do it this evening, and it is deliberate, they are starting to boggle my mind beyond it's boggling limit.  They were given a single primary job : Give us a decent business internet connection.  The inability for them to communicate succinctly is now a given, but not being able to tell the time is beyond forgivable.

I reckon they just messed it up, 'cause that's their MO.

I never received any Notification of this directly, so perhaps this is being rolled out on a per Area basis, to avoid a rush of technical issues hitting them all at once?

A bit like SKY who tend to roll out new Firmware on their HD+ boxes in waves, for the same reason.

Looks like you are correct that the update mentioned was supposed to go ahead last night (28/04/2016), so perhaps that only affected some areas?

Be interesting to hear if anyone (not on a Test), has any software different to the Hardware 1A and Software 4.5.10.12-SIP-UPC I have here (that others also seem to have too).

I've been following this thread a while, I'm on the 200Mb Business service with the Hitron, with the same h/w version and the same firmware, connection has been live for around a week now, been really hoping that this would be resolved quickly as I had read about it before the line had been installed.

I take it that a firmware upgrade never happened? My router status stills shows the same version.
