Browser downloading 600MB from inet.ntl.com?

Noticed that Opera has downloaded over 600MB from ntl.com, even though I've only ever been to any Virgin Media-related site twice. Any ideas as to what it might be?

VM host some content delivery networks on their network. Things like YouTube for example have servers on the VM network to save interconnection bandwidth between VM and Google. These will have .virginmedia.net or similar, or .inet.ntl.com addresses.

It also provides better experience to users as long as all is working as it should be. Netflix are another that do it. Smiley Happy
