Broadband cuts out at midnight

Morning, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place.

My Virgin broadband has started to slow right down at 11pm and then at midnight it just cuts out altogether. All devices can connect to the hub fine and they show a full wireless signal strength but there is no internet coming through from the hub, this continues until 6am when it all springs back to life again. Maybe Virgin think we would be none the wiser but unfortunately I have a two year old that gets up numerous times in the night and wants to watch Peppa Pig on the iPad.

Any ideas?
