Blocking websites

Hi,

Why is an external web host provider able to block my Hub 2 IP address? I cannot access websites I own at home but members of the public can. I have no disputes with them or owe them money.

Re: Blocking websites

Thats something you will have to take up with your hosting provider. many run firewalls that will block IPs making too many connections. Virgin Media cannot do anything about it.

Re: Blocking websites

Except they can change the ip address permanently. if I turn off wifi and use a mobile everything works ok except cpanel. This is my small business and the host no longer exists. even changing the host has made no difference.
