Looks like the issue is back dood.

May the force be with you,

Re: BQM graphs showing an increase in latency

[ Edited ]

Seems like the problem is in Linx (London Internet Exchange), going by my trace route.
Which seems to be one of VM hand offs, outside of the VM network.

So VM appears to have an issue with Linx (London Internet Exchange) peering.
Presume it is just Linx peering everything else should be ok that does not go into Linx

@pyrotenax: Check your speed from thinkbroadband's tester. Or download a test file from here which is out of a datacentre behind the affected congestion point: http://185.38.46.4/1000MB.test (that's Backupsy in London)

Not cool Smiley Sad

Btw , the link to the file you posted starts at about 15Mbps ..then deteriorates to about 5Mbps rather quickly

Re: BQM graphs showing an increase in latency

The packet loss you mention is constant for me. I sat in a CSGO server and saw a constant 1-3% loss. Unplayable Smiley Sad

Re: BQM graphs showing an increase in latency

It's really strange behaviour lol, my internet has actually been fine most of today up until the packet loss started. The minimum ping shows up different in every program I use to test it, on Overwatch it shows 29-30ms, on the command prompt it shows 50-60ms, on League of Legends it's 30-60ms with the odd spike to 150ms and on the BGM...

Re: BQM graphs showing an increase in latency

I have this issue as well, I have heard its to do with how virgin are routing there data through London and as usual this has been performed poorly,

this was by MrSaffron on think broadband and is a quote

" We have shown Virgin Media in the past that by tweaking traffic routing to use unusual routes we can get connections showing better speeds, so seems they are not interested in ensuring all the routes out of Virgin Media are good.

This is in addition to the various issues with local congestion. "

Cut out twice this morning, and strange behaviour with my ping. No packet loss yet though.

Re: BQM graphs showing an increase in latency

Cut out a further three times in 2 hours, but only 1 was long enough to show on the BGM. I wouldn't recommend playing games online (Especially FPS games) because they'll be affected the most and VOIP calls have lots of stutter.
