Activity summery

Hello,

I was wondering what activity data is saved with virgin media in regards to time logged on to the wifi?

My questions are.

1.Are the websites  visited via a mobile device saved anywhere  on the main hub information activity pages ect ?

2.Where it says how long a device has been connected  using the wifi in the activity pages after logging in to the hub does this disappear when u switch off the wifi on the router and go to a wired connection or does it reset to blank each time you switch off your wifi hub and also does it save anywhere else like a whole log of everytime you've logged on to wifi and how long each session was with which device?

3.what information is stored about those sessions via a portable device on the hub log in pages  ?

4.Does the time spent on the device disappear from the time connected information page if u disconnect the portable device after being logged on or stay there.

Thank you for the information Smiley Happy.

Re: Activity summery

None of that information is stored and what you can see is lost when a device disconnects. The hub doesn't run advanced logging features like you'd find in £100+ router. In answer to the specific questions:

1. The visited websites aren't logged by the hub
2. It doesn't store that info information. Once you disconnect a device that's that, until you reconnect it, at which point the connected time will be back to zero.
3. Nothing is stored of that like. Just there currently connected time and a few other basic things like the how it is connected, device name, speed and MAC address
4. Yes it does disapear once you disconnect the device

VM do however log on their side how much broadband you use monthly / quarterly / yearly which you can be told when you contact customer services by calling in or using the Webchat
