Access denied

I am trying to access website such as Wallis and Dorothy Perkins which I have done in the past and it is coming up with an error message of:

Access denied

You don't have permission to access "http://www.wallis.co.uk/en/wluk/category/dresses-265974?" on this server.

Reference #18.5b57dd58.1483885671.53e6b757

Can anyone tell my why and how to put this right

Re: Access denied

Looks similar to the issue described here:

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-wireless/Access-Denied-You-don-t-have-permission-...

The error is being sent by the web servers, so the fault lies with the remote site not VM.  They could be blocking your IP address for some reason and both the sites are run by the same company, the Arcadia Group.

Re: Access denied

this may help with ebay

as for arcadia sites, the link works for me.

Do you have either virus safe or child safe enabled on your virgin account. they should not interfere but disabling them as a quick test may be worthwhile

if not that, then its a case of trying other browsers, other devices, to try to narrow down the cause. Clearing each browser's history, cache , cookies is a good place to start

the free ccleaner program does that for you.
