2G connection problematic

From time to time I've recently been experiencing problems with the 2G connection dropping out. The 5G connection works perfectly OK. Usually restarting the hub clears it. Does the fact that it keeps recurring suggest there is a problem with the hub itself?

you could try and tweak the wifi channels guide -> https://help.virginmedia.com/system/templates/selfservice/vm/help/customer/locale/en-GB/portal/20030... since when you view the list of possible wifi connections how many is it showing?
