200 broadband package equipment question

Hi

I currently have the 100bb package and Im thinking about upgrading to the up to 200mbps.

I still have the SH1 which I use in modem mode connected to an Asus n66u router.

Would I need to change anything if moving to 200bb?

I believe they would want to upgrade you to the Hub3 being as you only have the SH1 if you was on the SH2(AC) you could argue to keep that although I am not sure of the technical specs of the SH1 and if it could support that profile I'm guessing probably not but I am sure someone who knows its specs would let you know.

Thankyou.

Im all for an upgraded SH, providing I can get it for free.

Seen as Im only using it in modem mode.

I presume all the newer hubs can be used in modem mode like the SH1.

We would indeed need to upgrade the equipment for this speed upgrade.

 

Newer equipment also works with modem mode. Smiley Happy
