10 days after installation still no connection.

This issue is completely out of hand now.

I've had a installation technician out twice, a service technician out once and more phone calls than I can remember. On more than one occasion I have been promised call backs that have never happened. I've taken multiple extended periods of time off of work due to having to be in for technicians as well as going home to check broadband that has apparently "now been activated"

This issue has now been going on for 10 days and I've had three different routers. This is beyond a joke Virgin.

Day 11 still no connection.

Was advised to restart router and still nothing.

I now have a connection 13 days after I was supposed to have my services up and running, please don't allow any changes as it's now working. I don't want to be without the internet for several more weeks

Hi No_Connection,

 

there's nothing to worry about, the cable needs to be replaced to prevent further issues. With a brand new cable in place, you're a lot less likely to suffer and noise on the line or disconnections due to weathering.

 

The team will usually get the repull done within a few hours so there will be minimal disruption to your services.
