I'd like to automatically top up a Virgin Mobile "Addict Extra" Pay as you Go account with £10 per month, could someone let me know the details and reference numbers so I can set up a standing order or recurring debit-card payment to do this?
Messing around with the website, text messages, top-up cards, etc is a real hassle to remember to do each month, so I just want to set up a simple automated payment to give Virgin £10 per month, but I can't find out how to do it.
Thanks!
Andre

I don't want to change the tariff at all, Addict Extra is fine, I simply want to automate the £10 payment each month. Standing Order would be ideal, I just need to know how to set up the transfer (rather than messing around doing it manually every month, and then forgetting like I did last month when the payment went through on 1st Jan instead of 31st Dec).

Hi andrewilley,
There isn't a way to do this on payg - the only way would be to put a credit/debit card on the account by calling 789 or creating n account online through our website and using this to top up each month but unfortunately there isn't an automated process. As Trickiejohn stated, the only way to do this is either to buy a contract or sim only deal where you get automated mins and texts each month and the dd is then taken out the bank,
Many thanks.

Oh, that's shame. Seems a bit daft to me, I assumed you'd have a nice simple facility like credit card and utility companies do, where you pay money to a bank account and put the mobile phone number you want to credit into the "reference" line. I guess I'll have to put a monthly reminder into my own phone's calendar.
Thanks for the reply anyway.
