Old contract

i have new contracts - it's must be switched today,(but i didn't have new box yet ) my old contract ends 29 November -- but today my network does not work -- WHY virgin switched of my old contract????

My phone contract has recently ended and i'm on a 30 day rolling contract currently. I'm looking to purchase the Samsung Galaxy s22 and was wondering if i could put my current Samsung S10 sim card straight into the S22 with no problem.
