Good evening,
I am not quick enough at getting my mobile out of my pocket to answer it, so my calls go to voicemail. How do I increase the time it rings before it goes to voicemail or failing that switch the service off. It only seems to ring half a dozen times!!
Kind regards

Have to ask:
Are you sure it's not that you only notice it for the last 6 rings?? is your ringtone set to ascending maybe?
lol
Anyway you can usually find what you need in your call settings under the heading "call divert" to change voicemail settings.
hope it helps.

Thank you Lisap,
Was set for 15 seconds. Ringing for long enough now and thankfully I am not going deaf....
Kind regards

to adjust your no answer voicemail length: **61*44xxxxxxxxxx**30#
where xxxxxxxxxxxis the last ten digits of your mobiles voicemail access, 30 denotes 30 seconds.
this was given to me via the south african call centre, default on mine was 15 seconds, but the above code changed to 30. (25 for 25 secs etc!)

Thank you tmsh27 this helped me too. I am also not permanently attached to my mobile, so found it impossible to get to, before it went to voicemail. This worked for me and meant I didn't have to dial 789.

This has now changed it seems to that you have to use your full voicemail number in the code, at least i had to.
so it is now
to adjust your no answer voicemail length: **61*44xxxxxxxxxxxxx**30#
where xxxxxxxxxxxxxx is the full 13 digit number given to you for your voicemail box, 30 denotes 30 seconds.
default on mine was less than 15 seconds, but the above code changed to 30. it seems you can use anything you want for the length of time but I have not tested any upper limit.
