My new pay monthly Vigin mobile phone came with 3 months free Spotify Premium. There was even a little packet and card in the box with instuctions to register on my mobile and my PC. In both cases I got a response from Virgin that the offer is not applicable to my account!
There seems to be no way to contact Customer Services by email or web on this topic and their call centre is shut down for technical reasons.
Can anyone enlighten me? Why would they send me intructions to register when it doesn't apply to me?
Could it me that I waited until after applying my PAC (changed number) before trying to register?

I just took my contract out in June, and I am having exactly the same problems as you. I called 789 and their eventual solution (which was to direct me to part of their website where I, once again, had to enter my phone number to be told, incorrectly, that I wasn't eligible) didn't help.
Looking back through this forum, people seem to have been raising the same issue since 2011.
Now, I can imagine why Virgin would offer an appealing deal to its customers that mysteriously doesn't work...but it's disgraceful.
